It's not long til he pops back to his feet, still continuing to look.]

[That answer doesn't seem to be good enough for Kaneda, because he's still searching. 'Nothing' didn't get Kaneda accused like this. It was definitely something.

Those eyes settle on the closet a moment, before looking back at Tetsuo.]

[The answer's written all over Tetsuo's face; he was never that good an actor, and he's not even trying to pretend otherwise. And in this second, reflexes fail him; this kind of routine is almost too routine. He could use his powers, but that'll only occur to him the next second - reaching out to try to grab possibly too late-]

Don't! Don't you even think about it!!

[Tetsuo, you couldn't have given yourself way more if you tried. Just the look on your face alone is enough for him to go to the closet door, eyes never straying from matching Tetsuo's. He'd hit it--whatever was inside this thing.

Now what could possibly have gotten him so worked up that he--

The knob turns.

And he opens it.

And like an avalanche, a slew of unicorns pours out of the closet, settling around his ankles in a downhill slope from it, bits of cardboard sticking out, the remains of the box they came in. There's one in particular that sticks out, with a hastily written 'TETSUO' on it.

All he can do is glance back at Tetsuo. Because what is this.]

[His focus stalls out as he watches the scene play out in humiliated horror. This is Kazu all over again. This is possibly even worse than that.

He doesn't even ... he didn't... not even attacking Kaneda now would change anything.

[Kaneda crouches down, sifting through all of the plushies, more confused than anything. He doesn't laugh, not yet anyway, as he picks one up and wiggles the little legs on it, curiously.

Who would--

Oh.]

Ohhhhh....Now I remember!

[Worst. Thing. To Say.]

[Kaneda had better not laugh. He'd better not dare even open his mouth to say a single word unless he fancies a whole new world of pain. One he deserves anyway; Tetsuo fucking told him to stop, but does he ever listen? Can he never, ever give Tetsuo a single moment of peace or privacy?

He got his answer, it wasn't him. Why could he never mind his own business?! Just once! Ever! Was he really never satisfied until he'd truly destroyed any shred of a life Tetsuo ever had a chance at finding here? He was already stuck waiting to heal, he didn't need this..

Tetsuo's eyes narrow until his vision blurs; he can feel the sting of tears threatening, fueling even more mortified outrage. What the hell is he supposed to do, sit here and suffer this silently? LIKE HELL!

And then. Then. Kaneda does open his mouth.]

YOU...

[Kaneda's going to find himself flattened against a wall in two seconds here.]

[You know, he really shouldn't be surprised by this. He did kind of invite Tetsuo to throw an attack at him like that, and before he can really process what he said, he's finding his back meeting his old friend 'the wall'. The pain is minimal to what he's used to, but that doesn't make it smart any less as he tries to grit his teeth through the impact.

Words, use your words Kaneda.]

Hey, hey, hey! Wait! Now hold on!!

[A hand forces itself up, palm facing towards Testuo, in an attempt to let him talk.]

Don't you want to know who -sent- it?!

TELL ME!

[That manages to keep Tetsuo from doing worse to him for the moment, though he's not letting go.]

I will! I will. Just let me explain!

[His hand remains out, really feeling his back press into that drywall now. It's...not comfier than it looks.]

[Tetsuo snarls, but with one final shove against the wall to make his point he lets go. For now.]

Well?! Explain!

[He falls to his knees, already trying to get himself up--because like hell he's going to be ill prepared in case Tetsuo decided to do round 2. He's dusting off his jacket the moment he's got his feet under him, huffing out a small sigh.]

I didn't -mean- to, you know.

It was an accident.

[No, actually. He doesn't know that. All he keeps doing is finding new ways Kaneda seems to get off ruining his life. At least he has some decency enough to admit he's associated with this, but claiming it's an accident. That's bullshit.]

Oh, so you accidentally went up to someone and accidentally decided to say something? That's what you're going with?!

[He can see Tetsuo's shoulders hunching, the way his body language changes. Okay, okay explain a bit better.]

I meant to send it to you! It got caught up in...all those jumbled up texts that one day.
