[Dark eyes meet his, brows furrowing as he waits for that reply.]

[It was true, he trusted Josuke a lot more than most of the people here--but emotions were high with everyone since the Pan event.]

[And probably not just over the phone, if it warrants texting Kaneda about it.]

[Kaneda called it with Pan. He was right. He was right the whole time. He'd know what to do, right...]

[The fact that Tetsuo's telling him about this is big.]

[He hesitates to answer more, typing something out and erasing it a few times. He's unsure about any of this, clearly, but it's not as negative as it would be if Josuke had done something like threaten him. There's too much confusion for that.]

[Kaneda notices him typing and erasing--something he's far too used to doing himself. It's a little worrying, but...

There isn't that air of pride in Tetsuo now. He's not putting on a brave face]

[This would be a lot easier if he'd just say what happened, but he's already losing his nerve about discussing this much, dancing around the exact thing he wants to ask.]

[It takes a moment, biting his lip before he sinks back down into that comm.]
