[He's about to text something, about how he doubts Tetsuo truly believed that even under that thick skull of his. But thinks better on it. Maybe he wants to believe that he needed him. To be needed. His communicator snaps shut as he gets on his bike, kicking it to life and speeding off into the dark.

Thankfully, the bike made getting to the Porter quick, and even quicker to the remains of De Chima's hall. It still had a lot of cleanup to do--it hadn't been long after the Swear-In. Rubble made it hard to drive too far in, so he has to hoof it, gravel crunching under his boots as he makes his way through the uneven ground. Honestly, why was he doing this? Tetsuo had more than let him know that he didn't need him. That his powers were his saving grace from whatever cage Kaneda kept him in.
