Backtagging: YES. I love backtagging, especially since I myself am a medium tagger. I can't boomerang all the time so anyone who's up for backtags from me, I'm extremely grateful.
Threadhopping: Fine for the most part, but if its obviously something serious or something that is really not the place for it, please refrain from doing so, or ask me first! Location, location, location!
Fourthwalling: I'm heavily aware of Akira's impact on pop culture, so I'm going to say yes, as long as it's hashed out with me first, so I can plan Kaneda's reaction around this. It's not easy being told you're a made-up character, alright?
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Violence is okay, however if it's excessive please run it by me. Also no rape/controversial subjects like that. It's not really needed in my opinion.

IC

Hugging this character: Of course! He's generally really friendly and good with physical contact like this. He's not always going to be the one hugging, per say, that's a little more complicated, but you're free to hug him! He won't say no!
Kissing this character: why Yes! He's flirtatious to a fault sometimes, so any kiss that could possibly stem from that will be completely okay in his books. He's a teenage boy, he is NOT going to deny being kissed. Hell, he'll probably be the one kissing half the time, anyway.
Flirting with this character: Of course! Just expect him to flirt just as hard right back.
Fighting with this character: Kaneda's first language is fighting. He's perfectly capable of holding his own, especially with his durability power, and he's got an arsenal of weapons that can make a zombie apocalypse survivor crawl the wall with envy. Despite his age, he's not a pushover, and he's seen some shit. You'd best be ready to bring your A-game.
Injuring this character: As long as you contact me, I'm fine with him being injured. I just want it to be fair/within reason before doing so. Kaneda has immense durability, though, so things that normally harm most people are nothing more than extreme bruising and shrapnel damage. Stabbing is also not nearly as effective. Please consult my Powers post for further info (coming soon!)
Killing this character: Contact me. I like to keep his deaths to a minimum.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: I'm going to say yes, but please let me know ahead of time so we can plan out just what is getting mind read. Kaneda has some serious baggage.

Warnings: Akira is an anime who's ending may or may not be the epitome of body horror. I realize that not everyone can stomach this, and I'm more than happy to avoid any and all mention of it in my RP. It's not something Kaneda likes to talk about, as it's a huge trigger to him too, but it will be accessible to psychics and mind readers, so it's best to keep this in mind if you try to dig for information regarding his past. If it makes you uncomfortable, please tell me if you'd like to opt out of mention for that ending.

Marshmallow peeps in the microwave don't have to be anyone's business.

Luck Manipulation

One of Kaneda's powers in Mask or Menace is luck manipulation. It's a passive power that basically turns him into a good luck charm (or bad luck charm) depending on the day. For the most part, it's normal. There's a 'middle' where he's neither good luck nor bad luck. Meaning his power isn't at work. This is Kaneda's default.

But when his luck swings one way or the other, it's always very extreme, and can affect those he's around a 'noticeable' amount. Anything from finding an extra five bucks on the ground to having bullets just barely dodge you. Or on the other hand, you might catch that cold you've been somehow able to avoid, or you might trip and fall INTO danger.

1. Can Kaneda's luck manipulation affect your character?

2. Would you prefer only good luck, bad luck, or both?

3. To what degree are you willing to let it affect them?

Thank you!
